São Paulo
Just an hour and a half from the urban chaos of Sao Paulo’s
20 million people is a pleasant surprise: a quiet, cozy country town
called São Bento do Sapucaí. A climber's paradise, the
granite Pedra do Baú has two smaller, though equally inviting,
neighbors-- the Baúzinho (the little Footlocker) and Ana Chata
(Flat Ana)Together they offer a vast variety among their more than
200 routes and bouldering ,with all kind ranges, levels and pitches.
The 1100 foot ascent gains you a spectacular view of the surrounding
coffee plantations and vast stretches of banana trees. The charming
village has the welcome mat out for non-Brazilians and you will find
great typical regional restaurants and sports activities such as canyoning,
horse back riding, biking, skydiving, paragliding, trekking, hang
gliding and others. Get in touch with us or create your own trip plan.
If you are in São Paulo and São Bento is a must see.
We can take you there!
